There will be new releases for ecilpse and netbeans. Eclipse Europa, and Netbeans v6:

I’ve been using Eclipse for several years, but NetBeans now has many advantages over Eclipse (before Europa) — easy installtion of all the packages and modules with one set up for J2EE, Swing, UML, J2ME, etc.
