[Note] offline dictionary on Ubuntu/Linux

On Windows, I used these:

• http://www.lingoes.net/
• https://www.sequencepublishing.com/1/thesage/thesage.html

Tried Wine, didn't work.

On Ubuntu, use GoldenDict (SNAP), and get dictionary files from:

• http://download.huzheng.org/
• http://goldendict.org/dictionaries.php

Works well.

I prefer offline dictionary - no network dependency, and dictionary files are useful for NLP projects.


These "note" blog postings are really just notes for myself.  In case I have to re-build.
